What is our method for delivering your perfect translation?
1. Initial Contact
Upon receipt of your request, we review the files and all related information. We then draft a proposal and contract which sets out the scope of the project including all tasks to be performed, deadlines, our rates, and a quote of the expected total cost to complete the project.
2. Agreement
Upon reaching an agreement and receipt of the signed contract and any required deposit payment, our linguists will begin your translation project.
3. Review
We carefully review the document, taking special note of the structure of the document and anything we need to research, including industry knowledge and linguistic pitfalls. We may contact you for any necessary clarifications.
4. Prepare the Documents
Next, we prepare the documents, removing any extraneous information which will not be translated and correcting formatting, and load them into our CAT tools for translation.
5. Translation
Our linguist is now prepared to work through your documents segment by segment, translating meaning for meaning and generating the perfect translation based on research and understanding of your industry and specific needs.
6. Proofreading
After the entire document has been translated, the linguist will review and proofread the entire document meticulously, looking for any grammar or punctuation errors, and correcting any awkwardly translated segments. The whole document should be fluid and meaningful to the target-language reader.
7. More Proofreading
Another linguist will do a second round of proofreading and error correction in cooperation with the assigned linguist who performed the translation.
A second set of eyes and a fresh review of the target material helps to smooth out all the small details.
8. Delivery
Now that the document is nearly perfect, you will be asked to make your final payment, and the document will be delivered.
9. Polishing Touches
We now give you the opportunity to review the material and make any clarifications or corrections immediately after delivery.
Final corrections will be made, and the translation is complete.
