Skriibl Linguistics has just officially launched, and is open for business! We are excited to begin this new venture, and so glad you’ve found us! 

Skriibl is currently a small team of two of the best linguists around, Adam and Glenda. Both of us have years of experience in the linguistics industry, and for the last several years we have been working with one of the largest language service providers in the world as over-the-phone and video interpreters. In this capacity, our services have been engaged by top companies around the globe in various industries: customer service, insurance, banking, finance, legal, medical, governmental services, social services, and more. And in this position, Adam has been training newly hired interpreters for this LSP, delivering a 5 week, full-time interpreting school program to train new interpreters all the skills and industry knowledge needed to be successful interpreters. Now, Adam and Glenda are joining forces, offering our knowledge and experience in the linguistics industry to individuals and small businesses like yourself. 

If there’s one thing we love most about our work as interpreters and linguists, it is using our experience and linguistic skills to help others in need, and this is how Glenda and Adam began working together as freelancers. We volunteered our services to translate our first children’s book together, Elle the Humanist, an endearing story which introduces humanist philosophy to young readers by introducing the Platinum Rule: Treat others as they would like to be treated. What a nice message and a wonderful way to introduce humanism to young children. We had a blast working on this project together and helping a young author to reach curious readers in the German-speaking world. This is the most rewarding part of working in the linguistics industry, and we hope to be able to help you with your next project too! 

Skriibl Linguistics is starting small, but we have big plans. The services we offer as of today include: translation, transcreation, document formatting, copy editing, proofreading, subtitling, and, of course, interpretation for English, German, and Spanish. As Skriibl grows, we look forward to expanding our services and our working languages on offer.
